Chapter 24: Brain Twister

Here's a brain twister. The clue to answer the riddle is there. Submit your solution in a comment. I'll report back by Monday. While I'm looking for a specific answer, other creative ideas could be clever answers too -- just not the one I was looking for. If people have tried by Saturday night but still not showing the answer I'm looking for, I'll offer a clue.

A man is found dead inside a room, lying among 53 Bicycles. The only other objects in the room are a table and some chairs. What might have happened to cause this scene?

No clue will be offered on Saturday; two people have already guessed correctly. Feel free to post your guesses or thoughts, even if you know they're wrong, in a comment here. It doesn't have to be anonymous, but you can.

The man works in a bicycle shop. His shop is next to a garage. The man was asphyxiated while in his shop due to inhalation of carbon monoxide from cars left running in the garage.

Lance Armstong got fed up with his hitting on Sheryl Crow, sow he challenged him to a card game. Then shot him with his souvenier french pistol. The cyclist left on foot, leaving the room in disarry but the fingerprints on the card will prove me correct. The cast of CSI will investigate on Sunday night.

Or maybe Lance is the body. Apparently Lance wasn't making Sheryl Crow happy, especially when he was playing with an extra card -- and knowing him, it had to be an ace up his gold-jacketed sleeve. Of course, it was Bicycle brand cards. So Sheryl gave him the old air pump with a bullet coming out the working end of a gun she bought at Wal-Mart discount store. And since it's a Tuesday morning, she's probably out drinking with Bill or Billy or Bud or something.
